This exhibition by our much-loved and fêted local artist María Aranguren is one of those windows open to our perception, interpretation and sensitivity. A collection of generous works which, with restraint and compositional rigor, cultivate sensitivity and invite us to reflect on the subject. What does she feel, what is she saying? Without realizing it, we are drawn into her game and find ourselves before a showcase of emotions that perhaps also reflect something of ourselves. What do we feel, what do we perceive?
«Al hilo de… Lenguajes de la fotografía» is a very socially relevant exhibition in which five simultaneous showings interweave different discourses, featuring photographs as witnesses of different customs, lifestyles and environments which manifest values and beliefs in the form of images through which their authors aim to reflect, declaim, mobilize, and raise everyone’s awareness.
